We’re pleased to introduce a major enhancement to Sygnal’s rostering workflow with the addition of Client Groups for Roster Creation. This update provides a cleaner, faster, and more scalable way to manage multi-client services—from setup, to rostering, to approval.
Key Highlights in v2.78.1
👥 Client Group Creation
- A new Client Groups section is now available under the Client module, allowing users to group clients who share the same service delivery pattern.
- Groups can include up to 100 clients and are filtered by the user’s subsidiaries.
- Only clients with an active debtor and active agreement are shown for selection.
- Group expiry dates help control whether new clients can be added or edited.
- The client profile header now displays all assigned groups for quick visibility.
- This setup helps organisations pre-define client sets and reuse them across rostering activities.
📅 Roster Creation Using Client Groups
- Rostering for multiple clients is now simplified through Client Groups.
- When a roster is created using a group, the system automatically generates individual shifts for each client in the group.
- All generated shifts inherit the details from the parent shift, including staff, time, price point, and funding arrangements.
- This ensures accuracy, reduces duplication, and speeds up roster creation for services delivered to multiple clients simultaneously.
- Additionally, when a group is updated, Sygnal intelligently manages shifts:
- New clients added to the group receive future-dated shifts automatically.
- Clients removed from the group have their future-dated shifts deleted.
- Past shifts remain unchanged for audit consistency.
✅ Roster Approval & Reporting for Client Group Shifts
- The approval view now supports client-group-based scheduling seamlessly.
- All shifts generated from a Client Group appear client-wise.
- Users can approve, bulk approve, or cancel these shifts, just like standard rosters.
- Reporting and claims continue to work on a per-client basis, ensuring compliance with aged-care and NDIS billing requirements.
- This provides a clean and consistent workflow from scheduling to approvals and claims.
