We’re pleased to introduce enhancements to Sygnal’s rostering experience with the addition of On Call Service management and an improved Client Group filter in the Roster Calendar. These updates provide greater visibility, flexibility, and control for schedulers, approvers, and staff across both Web and Mobile.
Key Highlights in v2.81.1
📞 Book On Call Service on Sygnal (Web)
Sygnal now supports booking and managing On Call services directly from the Web portal.
Users can create On Call shifts as part of the roster creation process.
On Call shifts can be assigned to staff without blocking normal rostered shifts.
Each On Call shift is clearly identified and managed separately from standard shifts.
On Call shifts flow through roster approval and payroll reporting.
Staff can view, accept, or reject On Call shifts on the Sygnal Mobile app (based on Force Acceptance settings).
This enhancement improves visibility and tracking of on-call arrangements while keeping standard rostering workflows uninterrupted.
🧩 Client Group Filter in Roster Calendar
A new Client Groups filter is now available in the Roster Calendar to help users focus on group-based services.
A new dropdown allows users to filter shifts by Client Group.
Both Active and Inactive client groups are available in the filter.
When a group is selected, only shifts related to clients in that group are displayed.
-
The filter works across all calendar views:
Resource
Client
Subsidiary
Supported in Day, Week, and Month views.
This makes reviewing, managing, and validating group-based services faster and more efficient.
