Sleepovers are rostered until 6 AM because this timeframe aligns with the current configuration of the system for all client types. The system has been set to recognize the sleepover shift from 10 PM to 6 AM. If a shift extends beyond 10 PM of a particular day and continues into the next day, the system will continue to apply the sleepover shift breakdown between 10 PM to 6 AM.
However, if there is a need for a shift to extend until 7 AM, the system allows users to break down the shift in a way that accommodates this. The first part of the shift, from 10 PM to 6 AM, is categorized as a sleepover, and the additional hour from 6 AM to 7 AM can be designated as a non-billable shift. This arrangement allows for flexibility while adhering to the system's configuration, ensuring that resources are compensated appropriately for their time and effort.
