Adding/Updating Client Subsidy Level.

For New Client Creation:

Can the effective date of the subsidy level be before the client's creation date?

• No, the effective date of subsidy level cannot be set to a date earlier than the client's creation date when creating a new client. For example, if user is adding a client on 01/01/2024, then the subsidy level effective date can't be 31/12/2023 or lesser.

Can the effective date be adjusted after the initial setup?

• Yes, from the Client Billing Adjustment screen, the effective date can be adjusted back to a maximum of 30 days from the current date for the initial client level. For example, Client is added on 01/01/2024 and the Subsidy level effective date is also 01/01/2024, so on 10/01/2024 user wants to change the subsidy level effective date, then user can adjust back till 11/12/2023 i.e. 30 days.

For existing clients:

What happens if the client's subsidy level is changed?

• The default effective date will be set to the current date, but it can be changed to 30 days back date from the current date. For example, current subsidy level is 1 and user is changing the subsidy level to 2 on 27/03/2024, so the effective date of subsidy level 2 can be picked back date till 26/02/2024. 

How is the impacted amount handled for updated client subsidy levels?

• The impacted amount will be calculated and credited/debited to the client's funds accordingly.

• No, the effective date cannot be set to a date earlier than the client's subsidy level effective date. For example, if the effective date of client subsidy level is 27/03/2024, and user wants to add any supplement like oxygen then the effective value of this oxygen supplement can't be lesser than 27/03/2024.

• No, the effective date cannot be set to a date earlier than the client's subsidy level effective date. For example, if the effective date of client subsidy level is 27/03/2024, and user wants to add any supplement like oxygen then the effective value of this oxygen supplement can't be lesser than 27/03/2024.
