Shift Types:

Each shift type corresponds to a particular time period, and shifts falling within that time period are labelled with the respective shift type.
Note: For more information on predefined set of shift types, please refer to the attached file with this article.
Price Line Item Creation:
- When creating a new price line item, users select the relevant shift type for that particular price line item.
- Upon saving the price line item, the selected shift type becomes associated with it.
Shift Creation and Price Line Item Selection:
- When creating a new shift, users choose the client type and subsidiary, and specify the shift timings.
- Based on the selected client type, subsidiary, and shift timings, the system filters price line items for the user to choose from.
- For example, if the client type is "Aged Care" and the shift timing is 09:00 to 18:00, only price line items associated with the "Weekday" shift type for the "Aged Care" client type will be available for selection, as shift timing falls in "Weekday" shift timing period.
- Similarly, if a shift occurs on a "Public Holiday," only price line items with the "Public Holiday" shift type will be filtered and presented for selection. The same logic applies to shifts falling on "Saturday and Sunday".
- This process ensures that the available price line items are contextually filtered based on the shift type and client type, streamlining the selection process for users.
By linking shift types to price line items and incorporating these filters during shift creation, the system optimizes the selection of relevant price line items based on the specific requirements of the shift and client type.
